So what is the best weight loss diet? Well, although fad diets may come and go but there are a few fundamentals of eating that have remained constant throughout time because they produce results.
First of all, it is better to eat smaller meals throughout the day than it is to eat three larger meals. This will ensure a steady stream of nutrients to your body and keep your metabolism high. If you eat larger meals, your body will store the extra calories as fat and then your energy level will drop as you go longer and longer without food. With smaller meals you always have nutrients in your system and you will feel more full.
Secondly, you need to keep the fat intake low. Although fad diets such as the Atkins diets may allow high fat foods, these diets are impossible to maintain over the long term. Fatty foods are simply not good for you, and you should stay away from them.
Finally, you need to keep your protein intake high, especially if you are trying to build muscle. Protein is the building block of muscle, and in order to maintain and build your muscles you need to keep your protein intake high. Also it has been shown that protein makes you feel more full than carbohydrates and fat. This feeling of fullness will help you to stay thin.
These three principals are the core of every good diet. Put them into action today and get the body of your dreams today!

In this article we are going to take a quick look at foods that burn fat...or at least the MYTHOLOGY that there exists a magical panacea of menu items that is going to help you SHED those pounds by pure magic. I've seen A LOT of recent articles touting the amazing benefits of these foods....so let's take a quick look below and see if they REALLY have any hope of helping YOU meet your weight loss goals right now. Read on..:-)
The dieting lore and literature is full of the fantastical negative calorie foods. But like much else in life, you simply have to read the fine print to figure out whether or not this is actually worth pursuing as a weight loss plan. Celery, for example, is a VERY healthy and simple vegetable that is SO low in calories that it actually EXPENDS more energy to digest it, than the caloric value intrinsic to the food. But put some dressing on that celery and your negative calorie just did a somersault into fortuitous fat land..:-) And you CAN'T eat celery all day for long...you'll get sick and be FAR worse off than just overweight.
Mushrooms have zero calories, and I LOVE mushrooms..but put them on a pizza, and you've got a tasty, but fattening negative calorie food again! There ARE foods that facilitate faster weight loss - FIBER full foods for example, expedite the process of cleansing the body, and are thought to be "fat burning" in that respect. Tomatoes and fruits like berries are FULL of antioxidants, and can also help the body rid itself of harmful toxins to a limited degree...but again, you can't make a diet out of ONLY berries and tomatoes.
The key is picking a TRUE weight loss program that incorporates the very BEST qualities of weight loss magic with GOOD and solid commons sense. this is what I recommend to ALL of my readers, family and friends alike...and of course, as many of you know, is what I have followed PERSONALLY to look and feel so good. (if I don't mind saying so myself..:-)
