If there was ever a life saving drug in the loan industry to people with bad credit ? it is personal loans. Bad credit usually is not very keen to part with your credit history and stays for 7-10 years depending on the severity of the credit problem. Those who have bad credit are rarely comfortable with loan borrowing. For them there is a silver lining in a rather new improved form ? no credit check personal loans.

Interestingly, there are still lenders who are not ready to take the risk with bad credit borrowers. Borrowers are turned down due to any credit problem No credit check personal loans, for the first time, give the bad borrowers a chance to share the platform with those who have good credit. With no credit check personal loans these borrowers have equal set of opportunities to choose from. No credit check personal loans also are great way to borrow when time is less, especially with no need to browse through credit reports.

No credit check personal loans though achievable but will require patience and perseverance on the part of the borrower. Finding no credit check personal loans will require an extensive research. Online you can locate many options for personal loans without credit checks. But a borrower must be careful for online there are as many chances of getting duped as of getting success.

Don't rush and carefully think about which no credit check personal loans to sign for. First look around and apply for free quotes. Free quotes will enable you to evaluate the cost of no credit check personal loans. Quotes are personalized so they will exclusively deal with the cost of for your particular situation. Then comes comparing loans. Comparison of no credit check personal loans quote will open your eyes to the loan that maximizes benefits for you. While you apply for personal loans without credit checks, make sure you understand terms and conditions. And the fine print! Did you read it? Ensure that, in your enthusiasm, you did check it holds no surprises for you.

While looking for no credit check personal loans look carefully for interest rates. You might come across the term APR. This is annual percentage rate and gives the real cost of the personal loan. It takes into account the sum of the interest and other fees, such as discount points, compared to the amount of the loan. With no credit check personal loans look for loans with lower APR. "No credit check personal loans" may not be categorized exactly as "low interest rate loan". But the loan lenders will charge reasonable fee for personal loans with no credit check. Try to differentiate between reasonable and outrageous fee and skip those lenders who charge high fee or outstanding benefits.

No credit check personal loans should be restricted to small amounts and small terms in the beginning. Take personal loans that you can easily repay. If you make no mistakes, you build your reputation with the lender. Thereby loan lender will consider you as reliable borrower and later you can qualify for larger amounts with better interest rates. No credit check personal loans can be a new start for your credit situation.

In case you want to borrow large amount with no credit personal loans, collateral will ensure its approval. If you are applying for personal loans with no credit check, purpose will not be an impediment. Debt consolidation, boat, wedding, home improvement, car??. ? take no credit check personal loans for whatever reason. But do coordinate purpose with loan term. Loan term that extends beyond 3-5 years for automobile or wedding personal loans means you are faltering with your calculations.

There is no better way to compliment the power of loan borrowing by using the loan sensibly. A personal loan with no credit check is a means like any other loan, to satisfy your financial anxiety. Entrust it to provide that while you make no mistakes. Think of the freedom of not being turned down for bad credit while looking for personal loans! At the end of the day no credit check personal loans are still an exceptional way of money borrowing.

Online Dating SCAMS

Before you even think about online dating, you must know about dating scams.

This is serious: if you get too deeply involved, a dating scam can significantly hurt not only your heart, but your finances, too.

Make sure you know how to protect yourself from fraud when using dating sites!

Internet personals, online introduction agencies and matchmaking sites allow anyone to join for free, and they usually do not screen their members. It means you never know who is behind this pretty photo: a real beautiful woman or a con artist who downloaded a photo of an unknown model from the Internet.

There are four types of online dating scams:

1. Prostitute scam;
2. Phone scam;
3. Travel scam;
4. Nigerian postal scam.

Let me tell you more about these scams.
------------
1. Prostitute scam

Prostitutes are straightforward: they place profiles on dating sites to solicit business. Such profiles are usually easily recognized by sleazy user names and steamy self-descriptions. They don't waste time letting you know what they are after.

2. Phone scam

This is the variation of the old phone scam: the person asks you to call them, and when you do, you get a bill in the mail for hundreds of dollars (1900 number).

3. Travel scam

The person resides overseas and asks you to help them with travel expenses to visit you.

4. Nigerian postal scam

The person pretends to be a relative of a diseased government official who asks for your help in a financial transaction.
------------
So, how can you protect yourself from being taken by Internet con artists using online personals to reach their victims?

Here is the simple guidance that will make your use of online dating sites safe and secure.

First, when you view a profile, look out for the things like a sleazy user name, especially if it's a woman: guys cannot stop thinking about sex 24/7 (and it's normal) - but women normally don't do it. Sincere women don't choose user names like "the_sweetest_sin", "ms_right_now" etc.

Second, read what the profile says: people milking others for money will say something vague that can fit anyone.

Third, look at the photos: gorgeous professional photos in combination with vague profile almost always mean trouble. People with beautiful photos receive LOTS of mail, so they become VERY selective and include many requirements in their profiles (especially women).

Basically, any woman who talks about loving sex and experimenting in bed is most likely not for real.

Any man who talks about being a millionaire isn't for real either.

It doesn't mean there are no women who love sex and experimenting in bed or millionaires on the site - they just DO NOT talk about that in their profiles.

And any person who does, is a liar.

Simple.

Another HUGE warning is overseas profiles. Often people would list their location as being local and when you start talking to them, they reveal they are from overseas (Niger.ia, Russia, etc).

Such profiles should be treated as potential scams - always.

If the location in the personal profile doesn't match what the person says about him/herself, my advice is to drop it altogether and don't waste your time.

If you decide to proceed, do it for entertainment purposes only and don't get emotionally attached.

What will happen, sooner or later you will get a money request in some form - they need money for a sick relative, they want to visit you and need money for tickets, etc - whatever the reason, there WILL be a money request.

When this happens, you can play along and have some fun, asking for instructions and promising to send them money - just don't actually SEND it.

If you do, there are two variants: they will disappear or ask for MORE money (hey, if you were so stupid to send it once, why not try again!) - and keep asking for more money until you stop sending it.

Don't even HOPE this is for real.
Because it's NOT.

You may want to believe it is, but better believe ME: I am a real person and you can ring me and have a chat with me. With those people, you can't.

So, who would you choose to believe: me, who tells you this is a scam - or them, who ask you for money (which you can NEVER recover)?

I work in online dating since 1999 - I KNOW.

Trust me on that.

Long distance + request for money = SCAM.

Forget any sweet stories you've heard in between - and any sweet pictures, too. Most likely, the pics are downloaded from the Net and belong to some model. (Hey, there were even scammers using MY OWN pictures! ;-))

Guys are more vulnerable to this one than girls: I have never heard about a woman who wired thousands of $$$ to some guy to come and visit her - but the Internet is PLASTERED with stories of men sending money to their non-existing female admirers.

How wonderful... this perfect female specimen cannot wait to get hold of your zip and provide you with the greatest pleasure you ever experienced!! OF COURSE she sincerely loves you and is different from any woman you met before (and probably a couple of generations younger than you as well).

C'mon mate: those perfect Playboy-type exemplars dying to try your new sheets exist only in the virtual reality of your correspondence.

They are as real as Santa Claus or Niger.ian millions. You know this one: you get a mail from a relative of a deceased top government official who begs your assistance in transferring large sums of money (stolen from the country's people obviously) - and easily promising to give you a few millions if you simply allow them to use your bank account. The people may list themselves as being from Nigeria, or any other African country.

This one is as clear as daylight, so if anyone starts talking about money transfers, honesty and trust, simply BLOCK them.

Remember the formula:

Long distance + request for money = SCAM.

I hope this article will help you protect yourself from dating scams and you will only meet honest, sincere and genuine singles from now on.

Happy hunting! :-))

Pre-Construction Investment Opportunities with IRA or 401k

By loudfrogs on 8:55 PM

Nearly everyone has seen the "fix and flip" house remodeling shows that fill the airwaves these days or may have even heard of a friend of a friend making money at it. But who's really seeing a bulky return on their investment? New construction and Pre-construction investors are.

You don't have to be a millionaire to invest in pre-construction. All you need is free investment capital, someone with the ability to tie up good property, and someone who understands how to build a quality real estate product.

Many would say 'yes' to that kind of offer, but don't have free capital available to do so. But, what if they could use the capital locked up in their IRA or 401k plan?

Your IRA or 401k was meant for your future, right? It probably isn't growing at a rate that will maintain your current standard of living for 20 years. If you don't want to re-enter the workforce after you retire, consider alternative funding for your future.

An IRA LLC - a type of self directed IRA - converts the funds in your current retirement plan to an independently owned and operated entity. You control how the money is invested and which pre-construction projects you want to be a part of.

Buying Power

A new home that hits the market with a price tag of $300,000 requires financing of about $235,000 to build, depending on the region. The remaining $65,000 is the profit split among the investors and the builder. If you could turn $235,000 into $270,000 in 9 months (typical time from first permit application to "Home for Sale"), you'd be realizing a return rate of nearly 19% annually.

Don't have $235,000 sitting in the bank or your IRA and 401k combined? One of the great benefits of pre-construction investments is that multiple investors can join funds and realize the same rate of return. As your money grows exponentially with each investment, you'll soon find yourself able to invest in even larger projects.

More money to invest equals more access to pre-public releases of land deals, investments in high-end exclusive projects with an even greater profit margin and the power to get in at the ground level of emerging markets.

Choices Beyond Homes

How many "fix and flip" shows have you seen that start an office building or resort hotel? How many retirement condominium complexes? There are plenty of these types of buildings that need repair and may be able to turn a profit, but the typical fix and flipper must find the funding. Now that you know you can join your funds with others, you should also understand that the options don't end at homes in Anywhere, USA.

What Hawaii was thirty years ago, some say the coast of Mexico is today - a destination where your investment can see unbelievable returns in just a few short years. There will always be some new great vacation hot spot in the world that needs shopping centers, marinas, hotel resorts and, of course, homes to house the resident population. You can help fund these types of projects before construction begins and see your profits roll in as tourists flock.

Funding for the Future

Do you have a friend or family member in the construction business looking for funding for a custom home project? You can invest your retirement funds in the project. Profits are returned to the IRA LLC tax-deferred, where you can reinvest the profits and watch them grow even more.

Cheap Car Insurance - Young Driver, 7 Ways To Pay Far Less

Cheap car insurance - Young driver, you can pay less if you understand a few things I'll discuss in this article. The fact that insurance companies charge you so much isn't because they hate young people. It's just that young people (especially male) cost them a lot to insure. The younger a driver is even within the under-25 bracket, the higher the rates charged. Understand why it's so and you'll save a lot...

Younger drivers are generally less experienced than their older counterparts. You'll agree with me that people get better at things when they've done it consistently for a longer period all other factors being the same. You'll also agree with me that younger drivers can easily do funny things on the road just to impress their friends (Older folks call those funny things recklessness and they cost you quite a lot). All these put together increase the odds that a young driver is more likely to crash a car.

Here are things you can do to make insurance companies see you as the cool-headed guy you are. Not all young persons are reckless. That's a fact but you've got to do something to show the insurance company that (And get the savings that come with it)...

1) Insurance companies have special driving courses that are designed to make you a better driver. You must have heard of defensive driving. If you haven't, ask and do your best to take a course on it. Apart from making you a better driver, it will help you get cheaper insurance.

2) There are cars that cost a lot to insure. You could get a comparable one that costs a lot less to insure. Sports cars are generally expensive to insure. A car that costs much to buy will generally cost much to insure. So, use a smaller car if you really want cheap insurance.

3) Get a car that has the following: Anti-lock brakes, Alarm system, daytime running lights and any other safety or security device. They will keep you and your car safer. Let your insurer know you have these in place. They will get you discounts.

4) You can swallow some of your pride and be on your parents' auto insurance policy. To do that you'd have to live with them and register your car in their name. If want your "independence" so bad then you'll have to pay a little more.

5) It pays to take your studies seriously. Insurance companies reward you with cheaper insurance if you make good grades -- A minimum of B's.

6) Use the public transport system whenever you can. Your mileage is a strong factor in calculating your risk to an insurer. The more you are behind wheels, the higher the odds that you'll make a claim soon.

7) I reserved this for the end because it's so crucial to getting cheap car insurance. Young driver, visit at least three insurance quotes sites. Input your correct details in each (make sure they are the same details in each case). Compare the quotes returned and you'll see a company that will offer you cheap car insurance that will not compromise you. Just make sure they're reputable insurance quotes sites...

Here are my favorite quotes sites for cheap car insurance...

If you want an affordable car insurance quote online (better coverage for far less), here are things you can do to get it...

1) Make sure you understand what you really need. Confusion and indecision is often a reason why many people don't get the most affordable quote out there.

2) Don't be in too much of a hurry. If you decide to spend only 15 minutes, you'll get savings if you know what you're doing. However, you'll do a better job if you give it 45 minutes with the same knowledge you have. Remember, you want to get an affordable car insurance quote online not necessary the quickest fix. Furthermore, spending some time now will save you dollars over the years.

3) Visit as many reputable insurance quotes sites as possible. I'll recommend that you visit at least three. The reason why I recommend a minimum of three sites is that you need many quotes to make good comparisons. How affordable your car insurance quote is depends on how broad your basis for comparison is.

I also prefer to use insurance brokers' sites. This is for two reasons. First, they return quotes from many insurance companies from a single query. Sites that are owned by specific insurance companies will show their's only. If they want to be smart, they can show you a weaker competitor's quote.

The second reason why I prefer using sites that are owned by insurance brokers is that they're more likely to give undoctored and unbiased results. They make a profit despite the insurer you choose through them.

Now make sure you input the same information in all quotes sites visited. If you alter your details from site to site, you'll not get quotes that will allow you make good comparisons. That's how simple it is to get the most affordable car insurance quote online without compromising your coverage.

Here are the sites that will guarantee the most affordable car insurance quotes online...

Free Auto Insurance Quote - Hundreds Of Dollars Saved In 15 Minutes

Free auto insurance quote -- Hundreds of dollars could be easily saved on most profiles without compromising your coverage. A guy was able to save $2,200 by doing it right. Here's how you can do it right...

You can save a bundle in spite of your profile if you follow certain guidelines. Yes, you'll use free auto insurance quotes sites like everyone else, however, you'll learn to use them in a way that others don't. This is what will guarantee savings of hundreds of dollars.

Make sure you visit at least three quotes sites. I have a preference for sites operated by insurance brokers. This is because they're more likely to give you an unbiased quote. The reason I think this way is that I know every business tries to show it's strong sides. With brokers' sites you can see the good and bad for specific profiles. The insurance broker loses nothing in spite of the quote you settle for -- They make their profits anyway.

Furthermore, quotes sites by insurance brokers return many quotes for just one query. This is a time saver if you really want to get the most savings possible for your profile by obtaining many quotes. Now back to the strategy for saving hundreds of dollars from free auto insurance quotes sites...

Make sure you visit three or more sites. The more sites you visit the better. Make sure you input the same details in them all. Compare all the quotes returned diligently. You can complete this whole exercise in 15 minutes if you're fast (Take your time if you're slower -- The result is more important than the speed, remember). You'll definitely save a few hundreds in your auto insurance.

If with one free auto insurance quote, hundreds of dollars are saved, how soon would you get your free auto insurance quotes -- For me, right now is the time.

Instant Money Vault - Review

Maybe but not likely.

The term scam is used far too frequently when it comes to internet marketing products. Every time a product doesn't live up to expectations it gets labelled a scam. This is not necessarily a fair assessment in most cases. The Instant Money Vault program is a typical example of what I am talking about. Here me out...

This program is quickly being labeled an outright scam and I understand why. The product is nothing more than an old Private Label product that has been around for a year or more now. The current marketer "Michelle Andrews" has simply put a new face and name on it and has begun flogging it as the next great thing. The "she" is rumoured to be a "He" in disguise. A marketer by the name of "Mark Warren" - founder of the "Ultimate Wealth Package". And surprise, surprise, the "Ultimate Wealth Package" consists of the same business model - selling review sites to people who in turn have to promote them on Google Adwords.

Does this make it a scam. No - just because it is not new doesn't mean that it doesn't work. Is it deceiving? Not really - it gives you what it says. The problem is this. If you are a complete beginner or "newbie" (I really hate that term, aside from the patronizing aspect of it - it always makes me wonder at what point is someone NOT a newbie. How is this decided? I digress.) then you would buy this product and find lots of info you don't yet know about. If you are a more experienced "newbie" then you might say - hey wait a minute! I already know this stuff! What a scam! You see my point.

The most experienced or inexperienced "newbie" will also probably call it a scam when they don't make $100,000 at the end of the first month using the product. 99% of the readers will not even try out the info, instead they will try to sell the product to others and then not make the afforementioned $100,000 and scream scam!

Your evaluation of this or any other product will be a reflection of your expectations and every product that fails to meet your expectations will be labelled a scam.

They aren't scams... they were just the wrong product for someone with your level of experience and knowledge.

Of course, some things are just outright scams. They don't deliver what they promise. I mean information and not the "Million Dollar" come on. Anybody this far into the "get rich on the net scene" that still falls for a "get rich quick" pitch should really give their head a good long shake. A real scam is not something that doesn't deliver the million dollar promise, rather it is something that doesn't give you the info it promised or the program doesn't work as promised. Everything else falls into two main catagories;

1) Seen This - Done That and now I'm pissed off... Man what a scam!

2) Wow, something new... Hadn't thought of that, this is a great product.

You of course realize that every single product on the net could get both reviews - it just depends on the person who bought it.

In this light I am going to review products on a different basis.

It's either;

An outright scam and why

or it's only suitable for someone with such and such ability.

Instant Money Vault is not a scam but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It has the content from a Private Label Ebook by Michael Rasmussen and has nothing new in it's pages. Even complete beginners can find far better content in other products. If you want a good product which will explain all the Internet marketing basics to you get Holly Mann's ebook called "Honest Riches".

Every other product on this aspect of internet marketing is nothing more than a rehashing of Holly's book albiet the odd twist here and there. This is what internet marketing has turned into - thousands of products each trying to tell the same story. Basics are basics and you can only dress it up so much. Holly's eBook is as good as it gets and all a beginner really needs. You can relax your sphincters now - there was no affiliate link. You can buy her book in complete assurance that nobody will make a dime off of you other than Holly.

The last comment was not meant to be snide. The truth is that internet marketers are their own worst enemies. If you thought I would make a dime off of my recommendation then you would likely not buy the ebook or at best you would replace my affiliate link with your own. Buy not using an affiliate link some of you beginners might actually take my advice and read her book. Some of you are so new that you don't have a clue about what an affiliate link is. All you need to know is this - stay away from selling anything in the internet marketing community. You will only find yourself complaining that you can't make any money because everyone knows how to substitute their link for yours. Why does everybody do this? Hey I don't mean to screw you friend but let's face facts - I can get up to a 75% discount by using my own link.

And that's all you need to know about the IM community and the people you are trying to sell to.

While I'm dishing out advice - and nothing new here - stick to selling stuff to the other markets or niches. Why. Simple really, the rest of the civilized world doesn't know an Affiliate link from a Fig Newton. Nor would they care if they did. They just want to buy something and if you give them what they want - you will actually make some money.

(I have kinda wandered off topic here but what the hell, I'm in a mood for a rant and the old fingers are itchin' to type.)

Where was I...

Oh... If you absolutely insist on trying to make money in the IM community then wise up right now and save yourselves a pile of money. The only people who really make money doing this are the folks who create all these products.

They create something for nothing, hype it using some twist they have discovered and then get YOU - the minions of the IM underworld to a) buy it and then b) sell it. And you do - maybe once or twice, maybe getting your money back while another 10,000 people sell a couple each until the window of "newness" has elapsed and the last batch of buyers can't even sell a single product. The products' creator made 25% - %50 of each sale times ten or twenty thousand sales and ends up with a pot of cash and the best part for them was - they didn't do much of anything. Instant Money Vault is a prime example of this. How much work goes into re-labeling an existing eBook?

The long and the short of it is this - create your own product or sell to other markets or both. Just don't sell to the IM maket unless you want to live in disappointment.

OK. That's enough.

Verdict - don't buy Instant Money Vault. There are better ebooks available.

Introduction to Consumer Credit

Consumer credit refers to credit in some form given to the consumers. It is a way of financing a client on condition of a deferred payment, at a later date or within a particular period of time.

The businesses that provide consumer credit facilities need to comply with some regulations as lay down by the laws of the state. It is equally applicable to specialist credit businesses like credit card providers and money lenders to mail-order businesses or shops that permit the customers to buy on credit or lease out or hires goods. That is, the enterprises that give consumer credit facilities have to have a valid consumer credit license from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT). It is a mark of assurance to the customer that the business firm certified by OFT is fit for serve the customers.

Let us see which all businesses require a consumer credit license as a mandatory requirement by the law. The businesses that sells on credit, leases out or hires goods for over a period of 3 months, lends dollars, involved in credit card selling, arranges credit for others, provides hire/purchase commodities, collects debts, and give advise on others credit standing come under the purview of a consumer credit license.

But those lends amounts or hire goods for a cost more than a fixed amount, those deal only with limited companies and those allow the clients to pay back the amount in four or lesser installments are exempted from the consumer credit license.

Ideally one should check the guidelines from the OFT website to find out clearly which all businesses need a consumer credit license. Remember, to trade without a consumer credit license when you are required to earn one is a crime that invites fine or prison term or both.

Consumer credit license is valid for a fixed time period (5 years or so) and is required by the business to renew it after its expiry. However, the OFT can revoke, suspend or change the license at any point of time. The decision to do so is at the exclusive discretion of the authority. All the consumer credit license holders will be listed in the Consumer Credit Register, which is given free of cost for the public.

If the business consists of many companies, each trading in any of the categories, then each of the firms requires a separate license. Also, the OFT has laid down rules regarding advertising credit and credit agreements. All these details are furnished in the OFT website.

The government and the regulatory body assume that it is the duty of the business to keep themselves informed about the rules and regulations that govern their enterprises. Any breach of conduct can result in hefty fines and prison terms. It is all about being law-obedient and straight.

Making Your Own Herbal Hair Shampoo

By loudfrogs on 9:35 AM

In 1990 I decided not to use the commercially made shampoos after reading Aubrey Hampton's book, "Natural Organic Hair and Skin Care." In this book Aubrey tells you how to read the label on any product that you put on your skin or hair.

Manufacturers are constantly using toxic chemicals in their skin and hair products and disregard their toxic effects on your body. This is easily seen in the list of chemicals that they use. Here are a few of these chemicals found in many product labels:

1 propylene glycol or glycol? a petrochemical used because it is cheap
2 cetearyl alcohol ? emulsifier that can be synthetic or natural
3 methylparaben or propylparaben ? typical synthetic preservatives
4 distearate ? this is polyethylene glycol or polypropylene glycol which are petrochemicals
5 isopropyl alcohol ? used as a cheap solvent to carry synthetic oils.

Here is a natural shampoo that you can make. This formulation is something that I have been using for many years. First collect the following items:

4 oz of castile soap with any scent is that available ? plain, peppermint, eucalyptus.

? oz of rosemary - stimulates the hair follicles and helps to prevent premature baldness

? oz of sage ? has antioxidants and keeps things from spoiling and is antibacterial

? oz of nettles ? acts as a blood purifier, blood stimulator, contains a large source of nutrients for hair growth

? of lavender ? controls the production of sebaceous gland oil and reduces itchy and flaky scalp conditions

2000 mg of MSM ? provides organic sulfur to your scalp, which improves the health and strength of your hair. It also helps to drive herbal nutrient into the skin and follicles where they can do the most good.

one empty 8 oz plastic bottle, or any other empty shampoo or soap bottle.

Mix the herbs in a mason jar, which has a lid. Boil 2 cups of distilled water. Add 3 heaping tablespoons of the mixed herbs into the boiling water. Pull the boiling water and herbs off the stove. Let the herb mixture sit for 30 ? 40 minutes. Put the 2000mg of MSM into the herb mixture after 30 minutes of cooling. After 40 minutes and the MSM is melted, strain the herbal mixture into a bowl.

Pour 2 to 2 1/2 oz of strained herbal tea into the 8 oz plastic bottle. Now, pour the 4 oz of castile soap into the 8 oz plastic bottle. Cap the bottle and shake to mix the ingredients.

The shampoo is now finished and ready for use. Use this as a base for all of the shampoos you make. You can add different herbs as you learn what these herbs do and how they help your hair. o you've got your LED or Neon interior car lights , but you're now a bit confused as to where all the car interior neon lights and wires go?" Well fear not, we'll show all the "in's & out's" of this type of installation and the easiest way of doing it.

It's a good idea to disconnect the battery before installing any car light accessories . You can do this by disconnecting the negative battery cable and placing it to one side of the battery where it won't touch any part of the vehicles body. It's also wise to have your vehicles service manual handy for information about the specifics of the electrical system on your vehicle.

For interior car lights, the best places to mount the LED or neon tubes are under the dash on both sides just above where your feet go, but high enough so as not to kick the tubes or damage them. There are also many other places you can fit them and their location is only limited by your imagination.

To operate the lights manually, your going to need a switch located near you, so you'll need to buy a simple "2way toggle" switch (or use the switch that

may have came with your neon/led tube kit) from your nearest custom car accessories store. This switch will be inserted into (in-line with) the main

power wire that supplies the kit with 12Volt power.

Choose if you want your interior car lights to turn on automatically when the headlights are turned on, or if you want to control the lights separately with a "toggle" switch.

If you want the neon or LED tubes to light up automatically when the headlights are turned on, then you will need to find a wire under the dash near the steering column. This wire you are looking for is normally Red or Yellow, and it's supplying the "headlight control switch" with 12V power - you're going to have to "tap" into this wire to light-up your neon lights when the headlights are turned on.

If you want to be able to control the interior car lights separately from the headlights, (best option) then there's two ways you can do this...

1) The power wire can be connected directly to the Positive side of the car

battery, or...

2) It can be connected to any 12V power wire from under the dashboard.

If you choose to tap into a power wire from behind the dash to power your interior car lights you'll also need to buy a " Circuit Tester " from your nearest custom car accessory store - they only cost about $10 dollars. To use this tester is simple, it looks like a pen with an earth wire hanging out the top of it and a clamp attached to the end of the wire, and it has a globe inside the middle of the pen, or on its end, which lights up when you have found power somewhere.

To complete the interior car lighting circuit - you'll now just need to attach the earth wire coming out from the from your led or neon tubes to the chassis of the vehicle. You can do this in the same way as described above for the earth wire on the tester - anywhere where there is bare steel under the dash is always a good earth connection for your interior car lights, even if you find a screw under the dash that is screwed into bare steel and it is holding another wire in place as an earth, you can use this too as an earth location. The control panel earth wire will need to be securely screwed to the chassis of the vehicle

or to any "Earth wire" to complete the power circuit.

After your "power" & "earth" connections are complete, your car interior neon lights should now work. If they appear dull and not real bright, then be sure to check that you have made GOOD earth and POWER connections.

That's it, you're all done - now all you have to do is put any plastic panels back into place that you may have removed, pack your tools up, and then head off to

show your friends what a great look you've just created on your car - Enjoy!

Working in China

Working in China is very common now. Either you are sent to China by your company or you apply for a job to be stationed in China. In fact, many Hong Kongers and Taiwanese feel that it is important to have good job experience in China.

It is also very common to be posted for short working trips to China as a technical expert or co-ordinator as China is a big consumer of modern technology. Many companies sent their technical staff on short assignments to familiarize their Chinese counterpart on new technology.

Job Hunt

Many people are fascinated with China and desire to work in China. You can apply from your home country, or like many, purchase a ticket, land in China and start looking!

The best source of jobs is on the internet. There are many job sites that specialises in China jobs. Alternately, pick up an English expatriate magazine that you can find in most 4 or 5 star hotels and there are likely to be job opportunities in there. Many of these magazines also run expatriate internet forums where you can place your resume.

At this moment, the biggest job opportunities for foreigners are as English teachers in schools as China raced to get itself ready for the Olympics in Year 2008. Similarly, jobs in Food and Beverage and the Hospitality trade is also in high demand especially for English speaking staff.

Entry Visa

For business or short working trips, it is advisable to apply for the Business Visa. A business visa allows multiple trips of up to 30 days per trip for a period of three or six months depending on the visa applied. An invitation letter from the Chinese office is needed for the application.

For long working trips, a Z Visa is required. This allow you to stay in China for up to one year. You will need a work permit and a letter from your Chinese Office before a Z Visa can be issued.

Accomodation

For those lucky to be on job assignments, the company will likely put you up in a hotel or a service apartment. China has a wide range of hotels and are likely to be clean and comfortable even if in the lower classes. When travelling to smaller towns, you may be unable to find a hotel higher than 3-stars!

For those on their own, renting a local apartment will be the cheapest way to go in the long run. For those really on a tight budget, look for a apartment in a local area and not in one of those expatriate enclave.

Rent leases in China normally runs for a minimum of 6 months but it is not uncommon to find 3 months leases nowadays. When renting apartments, remember that it is a requirement to inform the nearest police station of your new place of residence.

Work style

his can be a interesting area. Depending on the industry, the history, the culture and management, working with the Chinese can be a pleasure or a pain.

If you are working in a MNC, where the Chinese has been exposed to western management concept, you may indeed find the working style very familiar with that at home.

For others, work can be a nightmare in a entirely Chinese environment. Many state enterprises or Chinese company may run with a working culture reminiscent of the iron bowl concept of the early 60s and 70s.

Business culture

Again, business culture in dependent on the industry, company or even the geographical location of the company. For example, in the North, business is seldom discussed unless there has been a fair amount of socializing at the restaurant while in the South, business may come before social interaction.

Overall, the business culture of China is more of human interaction than anything else. There must be a fair amount of socialisation and familiarisation before real discussions of any form can proceed. Do not jump or insist on a serious discussion on your first meeting. Please see Chinese Business Culture for further information.

Language Requirements

It is almost impossible to work or do business in China without some understanding of the Chinese language. It is useful to attend Chinese classes before or after seeking work in China. Please see Chinese Phrases page for further basic understanding of Chinese.
